Texas Holdem Poker – Web Type Card Sites In Traditional Betting Houses – Like Betting onTexas Hold em on the Web

Have you noticed the new PokerPro texas hold em poker tables? The first time I saw the PokerPro tables was about three weeks ago when I took a brief getaway with my wife to the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma.

As I anxiously waited for my name to be called at the live tables, I watched how the other men and women around the PokerPro tables interface with each other. It was quite intriguing to say the very least. Since the poker table was controlled by a computer, there have been no clay poker chips to do any chip hints, no cards to shuffle and the actual live encounter was boring. Perhaps I was the only one that spotted this, but I did notice the players on the table had a lifeless quality to them. The cause of this might be since there was no human discussion with the dealer, the environment was relatively dull and the gamblers looked weary. It was nearly as if I was looking at a live version of an internet hold’em poker room rather than sitting with hot blooded humans. It was a little bit bizarre and I continued to have flash backs to an episode of The Next Generation and the holodeck broke down.

Since the waiting time for the stay tables for more than an hour, I decided to see how the game play was and to experience this new texas hold’em poker gaming technology. Soon after betting a few hands, I really felt like I was betting at house. The lack of activity on the table was the primary reason. I like to shuffle and stack my chips, and mix my cards around. None of those items are possible at these digital tables.

An additional thing I noticed was how the program dealt the flop, turn and river cards. I wagered a good deal of hands at the PokerPro table and discovered that the bet on was a good deal like an online hold’em poker site. That could have been just a coincidence, but I discovered it to be extremely odd.

Soon after wagering a few rounds with this "new hold’em poker technology", I decided that the PokerPro tables had been not for me. I’m better off playing hold’em poker on the web at home and not travel the distance. If WinStar Gambling den have been to have rid of the stay poker tables, I think they would shed a good deal of players.
