Internet poker has become world celebrated as of late, with televised events and celebrity poker game shows. Its popularity, though, stretches back in reality a bit farther than its television scores. Over the years numerous variations on the original poker game have been developed, including a few games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is one of the above-mentioned games. Regardless of the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely resembling blackjack than old guard poker, in that the gamblers wager against the casino rather than each other. The succeeding hands, are the traditional poker hands. There is no bluffing or different kinds of deceptiveness. In Caribbean stud poker, you are expected to ante up prior to the croupier announcing "No more bets." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers receive 5 cards. After you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you need to in turn make a call wager or accede. The call bet’s value is akin to your beginning wager, which means that the stakes will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your bet goes instantly to the casino. After the wager comes the face off. If the house does not have ace/king or greater, your wager is given back, with an amount in accordance with the original wager. If the casino does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The bank pays out cash equal to your wager and fixed expectations on your call wager. These expectations are:
- Even for a pair or high card
- two to one for 2 pairs
- three to one for three of a kind
- four to one for a straight
- five to one for a flush
- 7-1 for a full house
- twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
- 50-1 for a straight flush
- one hundred to one for a royal flush
