A gambler in early spot laid a $15 wager. Two entrants fold and it was now my turn. I really should have folded, but his play appear to be a little off. I identified this person as a weak-tight person, and regularly if he had the number one hand he would only check, so I called.
The turn showed with a 7, meaning it was a A-A-4-7. My opposer laid a further wager of $20. I debated a bit, but decided to re-raise another $30thirty dollars over and above his twenty dollars. He dropped out and I won the pot.
Gambling at late spot allows you an idea where you sit by observing how other enthusiasts react and wager. On the flip side, individuals at starting position may use their poker position to check-raise the late positioned competitors and trap them later at the end. In Texas Hold’em, each spots, late and starting must be played cautiously.
